Medical Care

The NCC Hospital maintains a patient-oriented medical care system by operating 16 multidisciplinary centers, including eleven organ-specific centers for the stomach, liver, lung, colorectum, breast and uterus etc, the sites of the most common cancers in Korea. Each center consists of medical and radiation oncologists, surgeons, nurses, therapists and other support staff specializing in oncology. This unique system enables patients to enjoy quality care services by putting patient satisfaction first.

The Hospital also plays a leading role in developing treatment protocols for the common cancers in Korea. As part of activating multi-center clinical research, the Ministry of Health & Welfare designated NCC as the Clinical Research Center for Solid Tumors (CRCST) in 2004. Currently, it functions as a coordinating agency for developing practical guidelines for hemato-oncologic treatments.
