Proton Therapy Facility
Proton Therapy Facilities are constructed on an area of 9,982m2 square meters.
1. Cyclotron
As one of the proton facility main components, the cyclotron accelerates protons to 60% of speed of light in order to enable it to reach deeply-seated tumors in the body.
2. Beam Transportation Line
Magnet is used to deflect the proton beam, transporting it to the treatment room.
3. Gantry Treatment Room
These 3 story high gantries can be rotated to aim the proton beam from various directions. In the gantry rooms patients lie on robotic couch that can be adjusted or precise alignment of targets contained throughout the body.
And we can give the prescribed dose to the targets precisely by using digital image positioning systems. (DIPS).
In this room, we treat almost all types of cancers including prostate, lung, breast and liver.
4. Fixed Beam Treatment Room
As the beam line is fixed, patient sits in a robotic chair that moves around the beam to fit the patient in a precise position for treatment.
This room is designed to treat mainly ocular and head tumors.
